Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy is a growing area of medicine. Menopausal women for years have used hormone replacement therapy to relieve their menopausal symptoms. Bioidentical hormones are IDENTICAL to the hormones you naturally have, not chemically altered in a lab to produce a profitable, patented medication. Bioidenticals in many ways are safer than traditional hormones. Bioidenticals are compounded at specific pharmacies and are customized for your hormone balance. Women of all ages often have hormone imbalance that they aren't even aware of, since it requires special saliva testing to accurately assess.
